C. At any given moment in your job campaign, it is possible to blame many external reasons for not achieving what you what when you want it (remember the last exercise of Appendix A). The truth is that your quest for the best job is probably impeded by only one factor: your resistance to doing what's necessary to get the results you want.
The real barriers are generally internal doubts, fears, resistance to change-perfectly normal everyday psychological baggage. The only way to deal with such barriers is first to identify them specifically and then to determine if you are willing to take the steps necessary to overcome them.
1. In your experience, what are your biggest internal blocks I the way of your job search?
2. What is the single most powerful personal barrier or behavior that might stand in the way of your doing what it takes to obtain a job with maximum job satisfaction?
3. What actions can you take to start the process of overcoming the barriers you listed above?
